The nursery of Penaeus vannamei is divided into two stages: larval hatching and seedling cultivation. Larval hatching refers to the whole process of female prawns (or broodstock) mating and laying eggs, and the fertilized eggs successfully hatching nauplius; seedling cultivation refers to the artificial cultivation of nauplius, which passes through flea-like larvae from the nauplius stage. (English abbreviation Z stage), mysid shrimp (M stage), larvae (P stage), the process of growing into seedlings. Therefore, generally large-scale farms are divided into two sections: broodstock workshop and nursery workshop, and are equipped with their own independent power supply system, gas supply system, water treatment system, and personnel.
The general technical points of seedling raising include the following aspects:
1, water treatment. Water treatment means that sea water in the sea area is transported to the nursery pond after precipitation, filtration, and primary disinfection, and then the water body is fully disinfected again to eliminate harmful microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria, and fungi, and remove heavy metal ions. What needs to be added is that the current water disinfection cannot completely kill the disease organisms, especially the pollution degree of the nearby sea area is different. At the same time, the period from April to October is the high temperature stage in Zhanjiang. During this period, the disease organisms develop rapidly, which is an impact. 2. The workshop is cleaned and disinfected thoroughly. Spray the whole pond with strong chlorinate (effective concentration 20mg/L) in the nursery pond 2 days before the larvae, close the doors and windows, and seal it for one day. The water can be fed on the next day. The water treatment is combined with the above item 1. After the water is fed, the seawater should be disinfected with strong chlorinated water, and filtered through the feed water to reduce the biological mucus secreted by the seawater. EDTA removes heavy metals in the seawater. At this time, control the water temperature to 30°C, adjust the air supply to weak, and use a black plastic film to control the light intensity to darkness. After making these preparations, the larvae can be placed.
